Requirements
Eligible candidates must:

Have experience or desire to work with students with disabilities from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in literacy
​

Have a linguistically diverse background, and/or unique skills to serve culturally or linguistically diverse students with disabilities
​​

Be committed to teaching as a special educator​

Eligible candidates need to be able to provide evidence for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that the individual is (i) A lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (ii) In the United States for other than a temporary purpose with the intention of becoming a citizen or permanent resident.
PARTICIPATION
Requirements Include:

Monthly Saturday meetings 2-3 hours

Maintain good academic standing

Engage in coaching and advisement meetings monthly

Participate in a summer clinical literacy experience
