Dr. Christopher Pinkney

Christopher Pinkney, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Special Education Department. He has a BA from the University of Hawaii and an MA in special education from California State University Stanislaus. His doctorate is in special education from the University of Oregon. He taught for seven years in alternative and secondary education in California before coming to PSU. His expertise is in secondary literacy, and school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support. His research interest is in multi-tiered systems of academic and behavioral support.
